It was one of the most pleasurable reads I've ever had -- not that I can complain much, because most of the books I've read this year have been completely and absolutely delightful.

But really, I can't say much more than ♥♥♥ I say you all go ahead and read it as soon as possible :D

You know what gets on my nerves? Dostoyevsky slash! Razumikhin and Raskolnikov are totally hetero; anything more than that would be DEFILING A GREAT WORK OF LITERATURE because we all know gay is mutually exclusive with "tormented, pretty Russian proto-Nietzsche Wannabe" just as much as with "boisterous but caring best friend". This is the internet. If you want to write gay porn, write it about two people who are big and buff and mentally stable. And it's not like Razumikhin does anything more endearingly hurt-comforty than make it his duty to take care of Raskonikov when Rodya's all messed up and fainty and feverish. Nursing a sick and/or horribly troubled person back to wellness would be totally out of place in fanfiction. Who would write such a thing?

There is nothing right about a sexual relationship between superior and subordinate. Oh, there so is! It couldn't work! There's too much of a power imbalance. Which makes it fun, IMO. This means I don't want to see any more Byakuya/Renji, Schneizel/Kanon, Chakotay/Tom or Jack/Ianto smut out there. And no, I refuse to believe that the latter is canon. More like I refuse to believe CoE is canon, but that's a rant for somewhere else.

Although, if you sickos wonderful people absolutely must write superior/subordinate smut, remember that the superior has to be in charge. They're the boss, got it? Unless they want to give up their responsibilities for a bit and let someone else be in charge, y'know. The subordinate can never, not in a million years, top, or do anything but lie there and take it like a good subordinate.

So, I'm reading the Mysterious Benedict Society, which is a very, very adorable book about a group of kids on a mission \o/ I know beforehand that Fu and Lau would love it to pieces 8D

Anyway, I was dying laughing out loud today because of this book. The reason? Well...

Besides that, this book also gave me Doctor Who crossovers XD Yes, not only Master suddenly appears randomly in the book, but, well, something about amnesia and stuff that made me want to write something with a certain favorite character of mine ;w; I-I'll finish the book first.

It has sequels, btw o: I think it has at least two. I'll have to get them somehow 8|b

My friends and classmates have seen the reactions of this already, and I've been wanting to post about this since a couple of days ago and well, I finally couldn't resist ♥

I've found something more amazing than reading The Dresden Files.

It's listening to The Dresden Files.

I officially love James Marsters thanks to that, as well. His voice is awesome and it fits Harry to a T, and I adore the fact that he --Harry-- makes the voices to all the characters... or at least tries XD (The feminine voices are particularly amusing XD;)

Also, the enchantment cries are freaking awesome XD There's nothing better that hearing Harry yelling FUEGO! randomly, and in very diferent variations depending the situation. It makes it all so very intense, so vivid, and the way James reads it aloud is simply magnificent.

About the reactions... well, you can imagine how flailing apparently at random in the bus or during class can make you look--- ad TDF makes me flail like. a lot XD So yeah, it has won me so much stares from people, but it is completely and absolutely worth it ♥

I fell in love with the audio books so much :D

S'about time to have a good overload of fandom goodness, don't you think? ♥ Love me some fandom.

My two cents...
• ALL ABOUT CLAMP is stunning, but there's no new real content. It's basically a compilation of all the CLAMP-related NewType articles, a few interviews, taunting us with the X/1999's never-ending hiatus, and the like.
• Tales of Symphonia 2 novels... omg, I've had this burning desire for them since last year. I hearts them so much! The cover art and sketches are gorgeous. And I blame yaminokaitou entirely for this added purchase.

SO GUYS HERE'S THE DEAL. If you'd like any particular pictures of these goods, please comment here telling me what you'd like to see. Scanning is slightly impossible due to the bindings, but I'm more than happy to take pictures if there's a certain something you'd like to see.

And sometime next week, I should have Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE Volume 28 (both copies if amaon.co.jp gets the deluxe edition up soon) and Tsubasa −ALBuM De REPRoDUCTioNS 2−, too, so definitely expect scans of that as well. :]
